Pollinator conservation lies at the heart of everything we do.

When pollinators like butterflies and bees thrive, the environment thrives, and so too does humankind.

Our ethos is aligned with the flora whose roots were cast long before we began working the land. Our artisanal honey is 100% raw and unprocessed. We strain it minimally, which results in rich and robust flavors, just like our bees intended!

We’re building a better bee!

Since 2017, we've worked tirelessly to develop our own line of region-specific honey bees that can withstand a cold, northern winter and exhibit the hygienic behavior that assists with combating the Varroa mite.

By purchasing our stock you help support what we have dubbed an “American Honey Bee Revival” and the continued education, research and development that we are doing to help improve our local population of bees!

Blood, Sweat & Ticks the blog.

Did you know that we have a blog? Blood, Sweat & Ticks is Jeff’s ruminations on beekeeping, conservation, land management, nature, and sustainability. As a contributing writer for Bee Culture, Jeff strives to bridge the gap between the magazine’s traditional, beekeeping audience and the natural world that surrounds us all.

“Sometimes the world seems on the verge of insanity, and one wonders what limit there can be to greed, aggression, deception, and the thirst for power or fame. When reflections of this sort threaten one’s serenity, one can be glad for the bees…”
