WE DO NOT SHIP NUCS! LOCAL PICKUP AT OUR APIARY IN MARENGO IS THE ONLY OPTION.

 Nucs consist of 2-3 frames of brood in all stages of development (egg, larva & capped), a frame of resources (honey/nectar & pollen) and an empty frame of foundation for the bees to work. Bee frame coverage will be 4-5 frames.

 All queens were reared after the summer solstice (June 21^st, 2023) and have successfully overwintered in one of our apiaries located in southern Indiana.  They are guaranteed to be mated and laying solid brood patterns. These queens exhibit some of the best characteristics to which we selectively breed for and will be ready to give you the best results. If managed correctly with your region’s Spring flow, these nucs will quickly build up to the size of a production colony.

 Pick-up date will vary based on early season weather, but we will shoot for the 2nd or 3rd weekend in April. This information will be communicated with customers via the email on file with us when you place your order.
